Here we have Audio driver for Dell OptiPlex GX520 for Windows 7 Operating System. And instruction how to install Audio Driver
The driver is tested and works fine. I spent too much time to find it. so I want to share it with you.
Dell OptiPlex GX520 Overview:
Processor: Socket LGA775 Socket. Data Bus Speed 533 MHz, and support 64-bit Computing.
RAM: DDR2 SDRAM with Memory Speed 400 MHz, and dual-channel memory architecture. Max Supported Size is 4 GB.
HARD DRIVE: Interface Type SATA 1.5Gb/s, Interface Class Serial ATA-150,
Serial ATA.
LAN: ata Link Protocol Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet.
GRAPHICS CARD: Integrated. Intel GMA 950 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0.
AUDIO: integrated AC ’97.
Note: Perhaps before the installation will be necessary to download and install WinRar.(Here you can download WinRar).
To uncompress the file with the .rar extension that you downloaded.

Installation instructions
1. Click right click on Computer then properties and go on device manager and go on missing audio driver then click right click on him and Update Driver Software
2. Click on Browse my computer for driver Software
3. Find where you download and extract driver and choice ( AD1981B) then click ok
4. Click ” Next ” And your driver will start installing
5. And after installation you need to restart the computer and enjoy it.

i installed audio driver on my pc but my pc did not access the drivers…
The driver are tested so much time…and comments approve that…may be your audio card is broken ? are you sure that your audio card is okay ?

every time i extract the setup its shows in the dialouge box that this operating system is not supported to this software. what u can say about this one i really want to solve this problem.
The driver are tested many time and work well. Did you follow instructions on the post how to install driver?
But if you install via setup the driver may be will say not supported OS..

First you need to download driver from the Download lin/[picture then follow Installation instructions listed below in to post
“Windows was unable to intall your Multimedia Audio Controller” is the Window showing after
Step 4: Click ” Next ” And your driver will start installing

Download the driver from the comment here.. and try to install agan ..
First try via “setup” if you can’t, try with update driver.

i have downloaded the 64 bit from the comments you have mentioned but during installation it give message AD1981Bdriver64\amd64\vista\smwdm.sys is missing. please guide me .i have followed the above instruction as you mentioned.
maybe it’s another audi chip, please send me the Hardware ids from the driver so I can give you the correct info.
