Microsoft confirmed that it will replace Internet Explorer with another browser,

which currently holds the title “Project Spartan“.

According to the writing of The Verge, the company is working on a new name and brand for the browser.

“We now explore a new brand, a new name for the browser, which should be found in Windows 10”

said Chris Capossela, marketing director at Microsoft.

“We will have a new browser, which gave him a working title Project Spartan”, said Capossela.

Microsoft has long wanted to get rid of the negative connotations associated with Internet Explorer.
